How to Add Partner Commissions to a Trip.

1.  There are 2 options to add partner commissions to a Trip. The first is within the Trip Builder. At the bottom you'll find the cost section where the Add button houses the Cost Calculator.

2.  The second way is to open up the Lead Booking and click on the Financials tab, here the Trip Costs section is where we can add or edit Trip Costs such as Partner Commissions.

3.  To add a Partner Commission, click on Add dropdown in the top right hand corner, then click on the Cost Calculator.

4.  In the popup, input the Cost Type, Supplier/Partner, and Currency details.

5.  Under Cost Type, the Amount Calculation type allows use of an exact cost amount, while the Percent Calculation type enables the total calculation based on a percentage of Cost Groups or the entire Trip Price, for instance, we'll calculate the example below as 10% of the total trip price.

6.  Let's set up the NETT% and Rack%: 

• Opt for a 0% NETT and 100% Rack to generate a cost entirely as Margin.

• Choose a 100% NETT and 100% Rack to create a cost with 0% Margin. 

• For a cost with a Negative Margin that doesn't alter the total trip price, select a 100% NETT and 0% Rack. 

Note: Avoid setting both NETT and Rack to 0%, as this would result in an empty cost

7.  The calculated Commission Cost will be appended to the Trip Costs. 

Note that our resulting cost item is 10% of the total trip price, is 100% NETT with a negative margin and Rack of 0, And, the total trip, price did not change.
