When you’re building an itinerary or managing your database, finding the right accommodation quickly is key. This search area is designed to help you locate, edit, or review accommodations already in your account, or explore public ones available to add.
Here’s how each filter works, with examples to guide you:
Public (Yes/No)
This decides where you're searching from. Select Yes to search the public Oasis accommodation list. This is useful when you want to browse properties added by Oasis. To edit public properties, you must first COPY the accommodation to your company account using the Copy button in the top right.
Select No to search only the accommodations you've already added. Use this to find and update your own properties.
Example: If you’re looking for a new boutique stay in Mexico to add to an itinerary, use Public: Yes and filter by Country: Mexico and Type: Boutique.
City and Country
Use these fields to narrow results to a specific destination.
This is helpful when you know where your client is going and need to check if an accommodation already exists in your list.
Example: Enter City: Rome to see only Rome-based properties.
Rating
Helps you filter accommodations based on internal recommendations:
Primary is for your top choices
Secondary are good backups
Alternative offers niche or specialty stays
Negative is for properties not recommended
Example: When planning a repeat destination for a VIP client, you might search for Primary options to ensure quality.
Type
Use this to filter based on the style or format of the accommodation, like boutique hotels, standard hotels, traditional inns, or lodges. These types are customizable, so they may vary by account.
Example: Choose Type: Lodge when planning a safari-style trip.
Budget
Filter accommodations based on typical nightly price ranges, if you have that information set in the property details. This can help narrow down a long list quickly.
Example: You might set a range to exclude ultra-luxury properties when working with budget-conscious travelers.
Archived
Archived accommodations are those you no longer actively use but want to keep for reference. They may be tied to old itineraries, so they’re not deleted, just hidden from active lists.
Example: Check Archived: Yes to find an old hotel used in a past itinerary, without showing your current go-to properties.
Search Tips
Combine filters to get accurate results, like searching for a boutique hotel in Barcelona that you’ve rated as Primary.
Use Reset Search to clear filters and start over.
The Recent tab is helpful for reviewing the latest 50 accommodations added.
