Configuration: How to Edit Custom Fields

Custom Field Limits

There are limits to how many custom fields you can create in your account:

  • You can add up to 80 fields using the text, toggle, or drop-down types. Each of these has a 250-character limit.

  • You can add up to 20 fields using the text area type. These fields have no character limit.

Step 1: 

  1. Click Company Profile

  2. Then choose Custom Fields.

Step 2. Add/Edit Module


You can add or edit a custom module within any of the following four categories: Clients, Leads, Trips, or Suppliers. 


Clients

In the Client View:

Step 3. Creating a new Field

Once on the appropriate Module (Clients, Leads, Trips or Suppliers) click the Add Field prompt on the right.

Enter the Field Name and, optionally, a Header Group. The Header Group will create a separate section under the Misc. tab in each module, allowing you to organize related fields into groups for easier navigation.  



3.B Header Group. 

Either pick an existing header group or create a new one. 


Header groups appear on the Misc. tab as follows:

Choose a Module to assign the new Field to (Clients, Leads, Trips, or Suppliers)



3.D Choose a Field Type



Text Box Types:


A. Text Box
