How to Create a Service

Step 1. Open Create the Service Pop-up


There are two options for accessing the Create Service Popup


Option A. Left Sidebar Menu under Service Drop Down, Create

Option B. Top Drop Down Menu: Create Service

Step 3: Service Information


After submitting the form, you will be redirected to the new Tour/Service page. Complete relevant information according, see Tour/Service Documentation page for detailed instructions.

Fields

  • Display Name - Name that will appear on the trip itineraries. 
  • Type - The type of service (ie. Train, transportation, tour, domestic flights, international flights).  If a new Service Type needs to be added, System adim, see Configure: How to Edit Service Type 
  • Class - Select if the service is private or group. If a Service Class needs to be added, System Admin, See: How to Edit a Basic List
  • System Name - Backend Database name for tour that is used to add tour/service to a trip. Formating recommendation (CITY: SERVICE NAME) If part of a multi day tour:  (CITY: SERVICE NAME Day 1 of XXX)
  • Supplier - Link Supplier that the tour is connected with
  • City - Name of the city the tour is in
  • Description - Description of the tour/service that will be included in the itinerary
  • Notes - Internal Notes only viewed on the back end system. Not visible on itineraries (useful for pricing, availability, seasonality, etc).
