How to Add Client and Supplier Documents

We're excited to announce a new feature in the Oasis Platform! Now you can add documents to Client and Supplier records, enhancing organization and record-keeping. 


Note: Currently, documents uploaded to Client and Supplier records can only be viewed from their respective profiles and cannot be linked to Lead/Bookings or Trips.



Here's everything you need to know about this update:


Key Features


Supported File Types

  • Image Files: You can upload common image file formats such as JPEG, PNG, and GIF. This is useful for adding photos, scanned documents, and other visual records.

  • PDF Files: PDF format is supported for all types of documents, ensuring compatibility and ease of use for contracts, invoices, and other important paperwork.

Accessing Documents

  • Document Tab: Once uploaded, documents will be accessible only through the Oasis Platform under the Document tab of the respective Client or Supplier record. This keeps all your files organized and in one place, making it easy to find what you need.

How to Add Documents


Step-by-Step Guide

  • Navigate to the Document Tab:

    • Navigate to the Client or Supplier record you want to update.

  • Locate and click on the "Documents" tab at the top of the record page. This tab is specifically designated for managing all document uploads related to that client or supplier.


Upload Your Document:

  • Provide a Name you will use for the document.

    • Allowed Characters: When naming your document, you can use letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), spaces, and hyphens (-). This ensures that your document names are clear and easy to identify.

  • In the the area labeled "Drop your document, or click to browse."

    • Drag and Drop: Simply drag your image or PDF file from your computer and drop it into the designated area.

    • Click to Browse: Alternatively, click on the area to open a file browser window. Navigate to the location on your computer where your image or PDF file is stored, select the file, and click "Open."


Upload Document:

  • Once you have named your document and selected your file, click the "Upload Document" button to add it. The system will then upload and save the document.

Confirm Upload:

  • Once the upload is complete, your document will appear in the list under the Document tab.

  • The list will show the document type and provide options to view or delete the document.

  • Use the menu icon on the left to reorganize your documents.




This is just the first phase of our document management enhancement. We are committed to continually improving your experience with the Oasis Platform.

Future updates will include:

  • Accessing Files from Other Areas: Soon, you will be able to access and manage these documents from other areas within the Oasis Platform, providing greater flexibility and convenience.

  • Mobile App Integration: We are working on making document management features available on the Oasis Mobile App, allowing you to upload, view, and manage documents on the go.
