Welcome! Today, we'll quickly show you the difference between HTML and Plain Text in the Oasis Travel Platform.
1. In Plain Text, all HTML and styling are removed, resulting in clean, unformatted text. This option is best suited for adding descriptions that do not require any styling. It also allows you to create paragraphs simply by pressing 'Enter'.
2. When the Use HTML toggle is Enabled, the description editor becomes available to use. This feature allows you to incorporate various styling formats, such as bold, italics, and underline text easily.
3. The Remove Font Styles button allows you to reset any applied font styling, returning the text to its default appearance.
4. Bullet Points provide a concise and visually appealing way to present information, breaking down complex ideas into easily digestible points for improved readability and comprehension.
5. Ordered Lists offer a structured format for presenting information sequentially, prioritizing items based on their importance or relevance.
6. The Line Break option, inserts a thin grey divider line.
7. The Hyperlink Icon enables you to insert or highlight specific text and assign a particular website or URL as a hyperlink.
8. The Remove HTML button, lets users clear all HTML formatting to start fresh. To use it, simply highlight the text, or, select the entire description, then click the Remove HTML button. Highlighting allows you to select more than just one word, so you can target specific sections for formatting removal.
9. At the end is the Code Editor, displays the underlying HTML code that powers your content. Here, you not only have the ability to view the code but also to personalize it by adding your own HTML code.
10. After you've finished creating your description, be sure to hit the Save button to ensure that all your work is securely stored. This ensures that none of your progress is lost and updates are preserved.
