When setting up the NETT% and Rack%, you can control how costs are calculated based on different scenarios. Here are the basic options explained with real-world examples:0% NETT and 100% Rack: This setup generates the entire cost as Margin. For instance, if the base cost of a tour is $1,000 and you choose 0% NETT and 100% Rack, the selling price remains $1,000, and all of it is considered profit.
100% NETT and 100% Rack: This setup creates a cost with 0% Margin. For example, if the base cost is $1,000, selecting 100% NETT and 100% Rack keeps the selling price at $1,000, resulting in no profit margin.
100% NETT and 0% Rack: This setup results in a cost with a Negative Margin that doesn't change the total trip price. For example, if the base cost is $1,000, choosing 100% NETT and 0% Rack will lead to a reduced selling price, which can be useful in specific pricing strategies.
0% NETT and 100% Rack: This setup generates the entire cost as Margin.
Note: Avoid setting both NETT and Rack to 0%, as this would result in an empty cost! |
