How to Update Financials for a Confirmed Lead / Booking

Welcome! Today, we'll quickly show you how to Update Financials for a Lead Booking in the Oasis Travel Platform.

1.  First, Navigate to the Lead Booking where the Financials need to be Updated.

2.  Next, Navigate to the Trips tab located within the Lead Information section. Then, select the specific Trip you wish to add Financial details to by clicking on it.

3.  In the Trip Information, change the Status to Confirmed, this step connects the trip financials to the Lead Financials Page.

4.  With the Status changed to "Confirmed", click View Lead to update the Sales Stage.

5.  In the Leads Status Info section, update the Sales Stage to either "Closed Won" or "Booking Confirmation" (for confirming trip deposits).

6.  Next, Click on the Financials Tab to move into the Costs for the Trip.

7.  At the top of the page, you'll find the Lead Bookings Trip Costs section, which is organized by Cost Type, Supplier, and Cost Breakdowns including Nett, Rack, and Margin. On the right, add any costs to the trip using the Nett, Commission or Cost Calculators.

8.  After updating all Supplier Bills and Client Payments, the Financial Review section will be automatically updated. Any errors in either the Supplier Bills or Client Invoices will be highlighted in red under the Differential column of the Financial Review section at the bottom.

9.  Once the Supplier Bills and Client Payments have been scheduled, it will tie out the financials by removing the Red Differential for both the Nett Bills and Rack Payments. Leaving only the Red Unpaid bills and payments remaining which can be handled from the Financials tab on the left hand side.

10.  Under the Supplier Bills section, you have two options

  • Add a Supplier Bill manually for any of the services.

  • If the Suppliers are set up with the Deposit and Final payment schedules, clicking the "Generate Supplier Deposit/Final" button will automatically generate the bills.


At a glance from left to right, key information such as Bill Dates, if the bill has been paid or not, whether it's a Deposit or Final payment and what method of payment is expected. To the right is the Currency used, Conversions and total amounts for the suppliers.

11.  Here is an example of a Manual Bill being added to the Supplier Bills. Here you can fill in the general information for the bill, and, clicking the Lightning bolt at the Bottom under Amount, will calculate the conversion rate if there's any. Clicking Save will append the charge to the Supplier Bills.

12.  Just like with Supplier Bills, the Client Payments section allows you to automatically generate the payments, so long as the Deposit and Final Payment timeframe are set up in your Company Settings. Otherwise, add payments manually, or use the configure deposit-final wizard to split the bill, by percentage or amount.

13.  On the Configure Deposit-Final Payment popup you have the option to choose between splitting the payment by a Percentage, or a specific Amount. After selecting the payment method, deposit date, and final date, click Save to implement the method for splitting payments.

14.  Here is an example of the Manual Client Payment option. In this window, add basic payment details including the Payer's Name, Due date and notes. When done click Save to append the Client Payments.
