Welcome! Today, we'll quickly show you how to Link a Client to a Lead Booking on the Oasis Travel Platform. Let's dive in!
1. To get started, navigate to the Leads tab in the left hand column and take your pick between Search or Recent to track down the Lead Booking you want to link with a Client. Once you've located it, click on the lead booking to open the edit window.
2. Select the Client's tab from the options. This action will open the section dedicated to your Clients and Passengers.
3. Within this section you have two options to add a client,
First you can link an Existing Client if they already exist in your client database.
Second is to add a New Client.
4. In the Link Existing Client popup, search for, and select the contact you wish to add. Then, update the client type to either Primary, Passenger, or Planner. Finally, click "Add" to append the client to the passenger list.
Primary: This designation is assigned to the main individual who is both traveling and actively planning the trip. They are typically the focal point for booking details and itinerary management.
Passenger: This category includes all other individuals who are traveling on the trip but are not primarily responsible for planning. They are listed as companions or secondary travelers.
Planner: The planner is the primary contact for the booking but is not traveling on the trip. This role is crucial for communication and coordination but will not appear on the confirmation view since they are not a passenger.
5. In the Add New Client popup, input the new contacts information and once filled, hit Save to create a new contact in your database that is append the clients passenger list.
6. Once the client list has been updated you'll see the new client added to the bottom of the client and passenger list.
