How to Add & Edit Currency

Managing Currency settings is important for keeping trip costs, supplier bills, client payments, reports, and client-facing invoices accurate when working with multiple currencies.  Here's how you can add and edit your Currencies from your Company Profile.


To start, navigate to the Company Profile in the left hand menu, then click on the Lists tab. 



There, you'll find a dropdown menu where you will select Currency from this list and hit the Search button. This will display all the currencies currently set up for your account.



If you need to add a new currency, simply click the green +Add button located in the top right corner. A pop-up window will appear with three fields: Currency, Currency Rate, and Display Currency Rate. When adding a new currency, make sure the Currency Rate and Display Currency Rate are entered in the correct direction. 



Note: The Currency Rate is used to convert costs back to your company’s base currency, while the Display Currency Rate is used when displaying trips, proposals, or invoices in another currency. 





  • Currency field, enter the 3 digit currency code. (USD, ZAR, CAD, AUD...etc)
     

  • Currency Rate is used for internal financials, reporting, trip costs, and supplier bills. It converts amounts entered in another currency back to your company’s base currency.
     

  • Display Currency Rate is used when displaying a trip, proposal, or invoice in a currency other than your company’s base currency.

 After filling in the necessary information, hit Submit to add the new currency to the list.



NOTE: If you delete or modify values in the currency list, it won’t affect existing records. The new values will only apply to future bookings. If you need to update currency rates on an existing active or confirmed trip, use the trip-level currency update option


If you need to edit a currency that has already been added, click the blue Edit button located to the right of the specific currency. To delete a currency, you can use the yellow Delete button. 



Additionally, there’s a menu icon to the far left of each currency that allows you to drag and drop currencies, reorganizing the list as needed.
